The following are examples from various logos made for departments at Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, Ohio. Per university relations, each series of logos has at least three versions: internal, external, and lockup. The internal versions are to be used for materials circulated within the university. The external versions contain the name of the university and can be used on externally facing materials where the BW logo is already present. The lockup versions contain the square BW logo, which are used externally where the BW logo is not already present. Each logo uses the Baldwin Wallace brown and gold, and has a clean, readable, and professional look. At least one example of each is shown.

A logo was created for each department belonging to the college of education and health sciences, which includes nursing, education, psychology, and more. A series of unique symbols were developed that reflect the function of each department while having a similar look and feel.

First year and second year experience is a program created for first- and second-year students to encourage involvement and belonging on campus. The thick, sans-serif typeface makes the logos feel fun and welcoming. The series contains logo featuring the full name of the program, the full name with taglines, and abbreviated symbols.

The school of humanities includes art, history, world languages & cultures, theatre & dance, and more. Each department within the school has their own type-based logo, and there are two logos for the school itself: one with just the name, and another with every department listed. Simplicity was the goal with these logos, but the unique serif “of” adds visual interest and pulls the design together.
